Reading blackletter capitals
Blackletter capitals are the hardest part: π¬ looks like a U, π΄ and π΅ are almost identical, and πΎ resembles a G. Lowercase letters are built from short vertical strokes called minims, which is why βminimumβ in Textura can look like a picket fence.
If you are lettering something people must read, such as a name tattoo or a sign, consider blackletter capitals with a lighter lowercase, or ask your artist to open up the tight letters.
